FAQ
What are the Hands-On Practice Hours?
Hands-on practice times with a live model may vary depending on student availability. Each full lash application requires a 3.5-hour time block, which can be scheduled during the day or in the evening.
Do we need to find models for practice?
The student must provide two models with long, natural lashes and no existing lash extensions or lash lift. One of the two models must also be available to return for the refill appointment.
Do we need to use the same model for the refill?
You will need to choose one of your two models to return for the refill appointment, which must take place two weeks after the initial full set.
Are there any specific requirements for choosing our models?
We recommend choosing a model with long, natural lashes. The model must also be able to remain lying down comfortably for up to three hours. If the model does not wish to keep the extensions after the application, they can be safely removed at the end of the appointment.
How many hours of hands-on training are included in the course?
The training consists of 20 hours in total: 5 hours of theory, 11 hours of supervised hands-on practice with a qualified trainer, and 4 hours of independent practice at home. This comprehensive format is designed to help you develop the knowledge, technical skills, and confidence needed to begin welcoming your first clients.
If I don’t feel fully confident after the training, is it possible to return and attend the course again?
We understand that every student progresses at their own pace. That’s why our training program allows you to return to the classroom at no additional cost for up to six months after completing your training if you feel you need more practice or additional support.
Is this training eligible for a tax credit?
We are a professional training institution recognized by the Government of Quebec. As a result, our training may be eligible for a tuition tax credit, depending on your individual tax situation.
I’m not available on the proposed dates. Are other training dates available?
You can contact us to arrange an alternative training date based on your availability.
How many students are in each training group?
We accept a maximum of four students per training session to ensure personalized guidance, close supervision, and a high-quality learning experience.
